So I could not sleep last night. Whole night tossing and turning... no more stuffing myself shortly before sleeping. I even had weird funny ass dreams which I cannot remember. I have no idea how some people can just knock out after stuffing their faces.
Don't you just hate it when you wake up few minutes before your alarm clock rings. You're thinking 'Hmm I woke up a little earlier than needed. I guess I'll go back to sleep until the clock rings.' Riiiiing! 'WTF!'
It has been happening too many times as of late. I wonder if my body has adjust itself to preemptively respond to the alarm or maybe I just am not really at ease to be able to fully rest. Whatever it may be, sleep has become a precious commodity when one has to work the following day. I even spend a fair amount of time during the weekends just sleeping to make up for the insufficient rest during the weekdays. With my working hours on weekdays, it makes up for more than a half working day on weekends. I am not complaining though. A job is a job and I thank God everyday for it. Hopefully He will reveal greater plans for me soon enough. Hopefully plans which involves earning more! I promise I will use a percentage of the income for good works!
My readers shall be my witness! Heck I will even buy my readers a meal!

Iron Guy!
So I just watched the trailer for Marvel's upcoming movie, Iron Man. The trailer looks interesting as always and I am sold in watching the movie when it comes out which will be sometime in May 2008. They got Robert Downey Jr. to play Tony Stark. Seems that he has put on weight in this film.
Marvel must be making loads of cash by turning their comic characters into movies one by one. I wonder what will be next... I guess it would be impossible to get a story on Venom or even Carnage.

Early Birthday Bash at Chili's
Just came back from dinner at Chili's, celebrating Shawn's birthday. Technically his birthday is 5 days time but I know that everybody would have other plans on a Sunday night especially since it is the night before having to go to work after the weekend ends.
I skipped lunch today in wait of dinner. No offense to those who are older than me, but I feel the aging effects as well. I cannot eat as much as I used to. I absolutely cannot make buffets worth the price anymore.
While waiting to be seated I noticed that a new games boutique will be opening soon right beside Chili's. What a perfect combination these two would make. They advertised Wrath of the Lich King and Starcraft 2 on their shop saying that they will be opened soon. How optimistic they were. Wrath of the Lich King is rumored to only be released sometime late next year. I doubt they would even be selling that in Malaysia seeing that Blizzard does not have Malaysia as one of their official countries to distribute the game. Thank God for Shawn's connections which helped us get Burning Crusade.
Tonight's event was rather special for eventhough I was not the birthday person. The thing is usually the plans I organize which include friends always fall flat on their faces. There will always be circumstances where people coincidentally will not be able to make it. Which is why I was rather happy that friends could get together today. The people attended were our closest friends. Afzal whom we know from since college, Ian who shares a long history with Shawn and Marcus whom Shawn and I play World of Warcraft with, who is also my close friend since high school. It was a great time. Ian as usual never fails to crack up the group with his awesome humor. Pity we could not get Shawn smashed as he needed to drive home and also work the next day.
And... now I am too full to sleep. I am going to suffer tomorrow at work for lack of sleep.

Sleep and Decay
So after a week of getting sunburnt from the trip I had with a bunch of friends at Gopeng, Perak; my skin is finally peeling or shedding. I am glad to say that I got a tan as I had planned despite the place not being a beach. I am still lightly sauteed. Well a small step but still better than being pale due to being in Melbourne for around 2 years.
During highschool days, I would walk around the city and major shopping areas just to kill time because back in the day, there was no broadband and I was far from having a power computer to play games on. So I would walk around under the hot sun. My roaming grounds consisted of Petaling Street, Ampang Park, Bukit Bintang and KLCC. Just walking around made me feel satisfied it provided me time to think about all kinds of stuff. I used to be so dark that people would mistake me for being a Malay. It was cool, they would speak to me in malay and I would converse with them likewise till they take a while before realizing that I'm Chinese. Muhibah yo!

I hate it when I get stuff stuck at the back of my teeth. It gets lodged in so deep that I think there is something wrong with my gums or teeth themselves. Especially when it takes a few days to get it out. It is like an itch under your skin which you cannot relief. Took me two whole days to get it out. Force did not work. Eventually it was a fine maneuvering with finesse of my tongue. Hehe.

Lately I have been getting insufficient sleep. I blame it on imageboards. Those things are so addictive. I feel compelled to click the next button until it ends.

YHGTBKM 02
I felt an impact towards my body. It was full of force yet soft and light. A sensation which I felt that I had to embrace it. I looked down to see what it was and to my surprise, it she hugged me. Her body against mine, radiating her warmth all over me which made me feel relaxed and at east. So much so that I felt ready to drift into oblivion, feeling nothingness and a sense of completion altogether. My arms were compelled to reciprocate in holding her. Welcoming what just happened. Accepting her affection. Acknowledging her feelings. She held onto me tightly which ironically made me feel safe and secure despite me physically being the one covering her as if sheltering her from the evil of the world.
No, this was not right. How could I accept her feelings which is not for me? She gives to the 'celebrity', not me. I knew it was wrong but yet it felt great. That was all I cared about. It was like finding an item which was meant to be for someone else but that person was nowhere to be found. In this case, did this person she looked for ever existed?

I brought her to a nearby coffee joint to have her settled down. I wanted to know how all of this began and maybe find out why she thinks I was who she thought I was.
"I am sorry, it was a lie..."
What? What did she mean that it was a lie? What was a lie?
"I made it all up. About thinking you were somebody famous..." She confessed as she looked away trying not to have eye contact with me. A numb ripple went down my spine, causing me momentary lost of feelings in my entire body. I heard no sound, saw nothing within that moment.

Getchur Game On
A few gaming titles that are worth looking into will be the upcoming Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath. Yeah it's an expansion supposedly featuring new units and new subfactions like how you were able to have specialized factions in Generals: Zero Hour. It will also bring you back in time to bridge the gap between Tiberian Sun and C&C3. You know the one with James Earl Jones as General Solomon of the GDI.
Another one which sparked my interest was SimCity Societies. I cannot believe that they actually managed to make another one. Apparently this one will have your citizens influencing the entire appearance of your city. Or was it the other way around.
I am forever waiting for Ragnarok Online 2. I have very high expectations for that game seeing that it is taking quite a while for them to develop it. But easy does it. We do not want another RO1 where it was known for exploits of imbalanced mechanisms, where the Wizard class was king.
World of Warcraft is set to have its second expansion sometime next year with a new heroic class to unlock. Everybody and their mothers are going to create a Death Knight. Sigh...

In other news, technology to be precise, Apple has officially announce two new iPods being the new iPod nano which looks like a stunted iPod video which now features video playback as well. The other is a tempting iPod Touch. The simplest way I can explain its features and looks is that it is an iPhone without the phone. These touch screens worry me. What if anything buggers up and the touch screen loses it's sensitivity? Personally I would rather go for the Creative mp3 players as they offer more compatibilities of audio/video formats and have FM tuners. Sure it does not have the sophisticated touch navigation. Sure it does not look as cool as an iPod. My only beef is that they only manufacture useful accessories for the iPod and nother other mp3 players. The one which I would really go for would be the device where you connect to the iPod enabling your radio, especially the car's radio to pick up the frequency of which your iPod would be transmitting your played songs. I heard that it has a considerable wide radius of transmission that even cars adjacent to yours will be able to pick up the signal. Imagine if you and your friends were on a convoy driving outstation. You could very well be the DJ broadcasting your songs to them! What iPod will not openly reveal is that their color display actually is inferior in terms of color count compared to other mp3 players.
Oh ladies should check this cool iPod accessory!

What A Way To Start A Day of The Month
So I woke up earlier than usual today in preparations of going to work early with full of enthusiasm despite my ever present fear of not being able to produce quality work which the clients would like. I arrived more than half an hour before I was to start work at the office. True enough (again) that the office was still close and no sight of my boss or CEO anywhere. I waited about an hour outside for somebody to actually arrive . The intern at the company joint me waiting towards the end of the approximate hour.
After getting in, I said to myself "Okay, you're finally in, get to work!"
Fifteen minutes later the office blacked out. We were sitting in the dark and heat(absence of air conditioners). My boss decided to head over to the building's management office to find out what was up. Apparently a circuit board, thing burst into flames and affected a few blocks within the building and we were one of them. The management had no idea when their contractors would arrive and be able to complete repairs. My boss upon hearing the situation, decided that we all should just go home and work from there as he did not expect the power to be back up anytime soon and even after repairs, they would require time to test and ensure everything was running properly.
So I am at home now. I will have to find my installers for the softwares needed to continue my work from the office. In all honesty, I hope we 'will not be able' to work at the office tomorrow as well but yeah that is just wishful thinking.
