I decided to give up precious sleep time in the morning on Saturday to help my friend Shawn out in cleaning his apartment. Unfortunately I was not able to do much at that time save for collecting all chunks of debris and sweeping up whatever that was left of the place. There was no point in cleaning it totally because the place was not fully complete yet. The air conditioners were not installed as well as paint stains that have not been removed by the renovators.
We stopped for lunch at Uptown. Prior to that we went to a couple of shops to look for a few items for the new place. We went to this DIY shop and to my amusement, I saw a crossbow, a normal bow, daggers, hand axes and even a Japanese ceremonial knife on sale there. Being myself I could not help but comment about it to Shawn. The man who looked like the owner of the shop upon hearing me, proceeded to introduce me to a flip knife which was on clearance. I was laughing because I did not believe that he would actually try to sell me that. A weapon. Well I guess it supposedly was used for non-malignant purposes but yeah the first thing that comes to mind when I see that kind of knives were for stabbing people. It was really at a low price so I bought it.
I am having fun flipping it open and close, since its a spring loaded knife which is activated by a button and also has a safety lock on it.

Aside from that day, I spent a great deal of time in World of Warcraft running around farming gold as well running some instances(dungeons) with a newly made friend in the game. Apparently he has night shifts where he's from so he's awake during my evenings which works out pretty well. He is very resourceful being able to find other players to form a group to run the instances. I also managed to get new armor pieces for 2 of my characters; new shoulder armor for my hunter and new head armor for my rogue.
Hopefully within two weeks time I will be able to amount enough gold to be able to by an epic flying mount for my paladin and speed around like mad. An epic flying mount in the game is like a luxurious sports car in real life. You do not really need one, but if you have one, it goes very fast and it just makes life easier in getting from point A to point B.

It Is Evil Enough
...when good people do nothing.
Ignorance is only blissful to that who is ignorant. The world still spins. Life still goes on as the ignorant remains stagnant.
If you think just because you live your life trying not to offend as many people as possible is leading a life of righteousness, you have no idea.
Sitting on the fence so as not to take/offend either sides shows that you are in fact choosing to be useless as well as disloyal to either sides eventually making you shunned by either. It is the same concept as the fact that eventhough you do not say anything in hopes of not telling a lie, but not wanting to tell the truth either, it is still regarded as dishonesty because the decision has been made not to speak the truth when the situation arisen.
If you are one not to wanting to get involved, people will choose not to involve you in the future as well.
Hell even when you die, you still will not be doing 'nothing'.

This Month is Crawling!
I do not know if it is just me, but I feel like this month seem to be going really slow. Also, I cannot wait for the end of this month for another pay cheque!
My cousin told me that Colin McRae passed away and I thought he was joking. Apparently it is real. My condolences to the rally driver who's name was used to produce various rally racing games.
I deserve to get beaten up badly for this but I just cannot keep it shut. Now I find the latest game with his name on it very ironic. Get smart a bit and find out yourselves.

Electrifying!
So... This has happened to me and it has affected a lot of people many times as well.
Everytime when somebody comes in contact with me I shock them with static electricity. Last Tuesday while walking around 1 Utama with Marcus, I shocked him 3 times! And once on Afzal later that night.
This is not the first time where I experienced such repeated phenomenon. Sometimes I shock myself when I touch metal objects as well. Fear my powers!

Agonizing Addiction
Why oh why do I do this to myself!?
So there is this anime I am following called School Days. So far its about this guy who keeps seeing a girl on the train he rides to school everyday. He starts to have this infatuation from watching her everyday in the train. He tells his classmate about it and she decides to help him get her. Eventually the guy and the girl from the train end up together thanks to the guy's classmate. What they did not know is that the classmate also likes the guy.
So with his now girlfriend, he gets all horny and tries to do stuff with her which she is not really too comfortable or crazy about. He gets annoyed and disappointed. However she tries very hard to understand him and make him happy by forcing herself to allow him to do stuff to her. She also tries to be more affectionate with him hoping to do things with him like couples would. For some strange reason he does not like it and thinks its troublesome.
Over time he tends to realize that his classmate was better to be around with and they soon hit it off and start having an affair behind his girlfriend's back. Now another character in the background gradually emerges claiming that she likes the guy as well since they were from the same middle school. So far the guy's affair had been going on too far and sure enough he gets caught by his girlfriend without knowing. That is all for now and I am waiting for the new episodes to be available.
* * * * *
She is everything a guy could want. The guy sees her everyday in the train and decides he wants her and his classmate friend helps him get her easily. He does all kind of shit to the girl and she lets him because she wants to make the relationship work out with him. She has been trying very hard to do lots of things to please him which just gets brushed aside. He does not even help her up or at least look worried when she trips and fall while they were walking together. He does not appreciate all these and has the nerve to cheat on her.
I feel so irritated by that guy's character. I feel like killing him. Good job for the creators of the anime in making animated character I genuinely hate. Every episode I watch, I feel sad for the girlfriend. You might be thinking, if its too much to take why not just stop watching altogether? That is the problem with me. Nobody how bad a story is to me, I have to finish it. It is my nature of having to finish something so that I have closure. I need closure! I am the type of person who needs to see things to the very end. A sense of completion is necessary for me. However I am not a masochist in a sense that I most likely might not rewatch the series again. I have some stored anime with very sad endings which I dare not watch again for fear of being saddened by them. Pathetic I am. The same applies to books I read as well.
Anime is my fantasy land! My form of escape from the everyday drudgeries of reality. It is my place to be happy with something that I know will never exist in the real world. Because the real world is full of shitty people!

Logitech Love
While surfing the web for ideas and inspiration on designs at work. I came across not one, not two... but three new Logitech products. I think at least one out of three of them have already been released but I doubt it would be available in Malaysia yet.
They are... *drum roll* the
Logitech G9 Laser Mouse
Logitech G15 Keyboard
Logitech G51 Speakers
Let us start with the mouse.
It is awesome! Why is it awesome? Because it has incorporated all the cool features of previous Logitech mice into a single product. Thank God I did not rush to buy the MX Revolution. Its main features I am going crazy over are the 'free scroll' function, the ability to add more weight to the mouse, its scroll wheel being able to 'scroll' horizontally and the feature of adding on a different type of grip. Apparently you can add/remove a 'grip' which adds to the width of the mouse which alleges more comfort. Removing it simply makes your mouse the slim/normal form for those people who dislike bulkiness.
Now on to the keyboard.
Well I am not sure why I was interested in the first place. The more I think about it, I realize it is not that much different from my current G15 v1. Firstly it does not have blue illumination anymore so boo. They also did away with the dial for controlling volume which I think was cool. They replaced it with just a volume up and down button respectively. Also it does not have a flip open LCD screen anymore, rather just a screen embedded on top of the keyboard. I guess they want it to be less bulky and more space conscious. I can totally give this a miss.
Finally the sounds!
Initially I do not prioritize sound quality. Or rather it was never high on my list. Until I got my X-Fi soundcard. Also being exposed to my dad's hifi stereo system. As hard as I try to adjust the settings for my X-Fi going through my old Logitech 6.1 speakers, there was just something not quite right. The speakers was just not adequate enough to provide the sound quality I desired. I have keen sense when it comes to details in graphics and sound. A factor to being able to play music by ear efficiently. Reading about the new upcoming G51 made me go "that will be what I am replacing my currents speakers with". Each of its satellite speakers seem to have a high and low sound transmitter as opposed to the previous generation speakers having only one transmitter, like mine. What really made me excited was the front middle speak being able to be mounted on the monitor like the new webcams that were made to clip onto flatscreen monitors. Woohoo! About time somebody thought of that. My current middle front speaker is designed to be placed either on top of a monitor with a wide surface or on the floor.
Why you may ask that I got this 6.1 in the first place? True story. While I was in Melbourne, I needed speakers for my computer there, so I went to a nearby store. I wanted to get a simple 2.1 set when I saw its price being quite ridiculously expensive. Then I saw this 6.1 that the store was trying to get rid of, which was 1/3 the price of a new 2.1. To me it sounded like a great deal. After a couple of years of experience only now I realize that you really do get what you pay for and more speakers do not necessarily mean better. However I needed speakers anyway because I blew up the speakers on my Sony mini hifi system right before I left for Australia. If I ever get my hands on these G51... I will give the 6.1 to my dad and hook it up for him to the dvd player or television. Of course he will repeat that my 6.1 is never a match for his stereo hifi system. Durh. However I use my speakers for other things than just listening to music. So you cannot really make comparisons like that. I do admit though when it comes to music sound quality, it still is somewhat unsatisfying. May the mouse and speakers be birthday and Christmas presents I get for myself!
