A Sorrowful Say

What is this country coming to when citizens die under the custody of authoritative figures?

How is it that we are living in this place where crime is happening everywhere and being reported more frequently while nothing is seen to resolve them effectively. Now and then they talk about busting or crippling gangs and syndicates but they never ever have convincing coverage reinforcing these statements that are put in the news. This in turn leaves people plenty of room to speculate and assume the worst of the so called law enforcers.

All that is going on here make me feel like a second rate citizen in the country I was born in, in the country where I grew up with fellows of all ethnicity. Why are we being treated this way? What sin did we commit to deserve such treatment? Most of all, why do the "powers that be" just watch on and allow it to happen?

To some, human lives mean so little. However it would be a different story when it comes to their own and their loved ones. How can a man treat another person lesser than himself, when God created us all in His image? Remember, the person you harm and kill is somebody's child. Somebody's sibling, parent, nephew/niece, aunt/uncle, friend, spouse.

* * * * *

I look at what is happening to this country, I feel sad and angry for its state. I often ask God, what is the point to innocent people suffering and dying, without a chance to ever do good in their lives.

Idealistically I know the reason. However being only a mere human, with weaknesses and limitations, especially great awareness of my own limitations... I cannot see why. All I can do is wait, though as annoying as it is to continue suffer and watch other suffer worse, I fear that my turn might be near. It is come to the point where I do not even want get into any situation where it would involve the authority, even if I am in the right. The trust has been long gone, it started when word spreads about them accepting bribes.

We can only pray for our own safety and pray that the good that would come out of this makes the death of innocents, justifiable. Let not their deaths be in vain. Let our suffering not merely be a passing.

* * * * *

An innocent man that was led to his death, was a father. He was a woman's husband. He was a couple's son. A son that dedicated his life in helping a cause which he believed as I do, would make it a better place for us all. A son of the nation, who's life has been ended by the those that seek to oppress the people.

These people who died, did not fight back, being outnumbered and driven to their deaths. Are those responsible for their deaths, void of any conscience? Do the pleas of mercy from the victims not mean anything? What is the use of the judiciary and prison, when law is taken into their own hands. Why are they allowed to get away with such acts when the citizens cannot even protest peacefully!? To silence them is to be found guilty. The voices in the hearts and minds of the killers will not go away. For they are marked with the blood of the people whose lives they took.

Here is one small voice wishing condolences to the departed. Praying that justice would at least be done in their lifetime. Hoping to encourage others to strengthen their resolve. Hoping this will fuel others to persevere in doing their part in getting rid of the upholders of a faulty and corrupted system. Let not their deaths be in vain, for they are more reasons for us to soldier, together as one united nation irregardless of color and beliefs. For the greater good and equality for all. For all.

Spread the word, encourage people you know to do their part. Let the world be known of what is going on in the country today and that we have the power to change it.

I Hate Fat Bitches

With a title like that, it is surely to have people assume straightaway that I am prejudiced towards women who suffer from obesity. First of all, as Ricky Gervais said, obesity is not a disease. It is a choice of lifestyle. Second of all… It is not their physicality that annoys me. It is their blatant regards to being inconsiderate to everyone around them.

I believe I have written before about my encounters with them. Where at eating places they would hog the a large area of where the food is, blocking other people from accessing the food. Most of the time they are just standing there gazing at the food. You would think with their current condition they would just pick stuff up without any second thought and eat whatever that is on their plate anyway. Holding up traffic is never good.

Then there were other incidents where they would be waddling ever so slowly in the middle of walkways making it difficult to walk pass them. And what is up with this shit of standing in front of escalators? It is already a problem when people do it. What more when a fat person does it? GTFO!

Last week, while I was at the gym, I was waiting for a machine to be vacated where these two women were just sitting there and talking to each other, not even using the machines for their intended purpose. I would have used a vacated machine but there wasn't any. Two were used by those women for chatting. The third was being used by someone else. This is why you'll never lose weight.

Today while I was choosing dishes to go with my rice at the nearby Indian curry house, some woman decided to stand in front of me and looked at the food, blocking me. She took a good while looking at the food and guess what? She did not even have a plate with her!

After lunch, I went to the hypermarket to restock on groceries for the office. I bought a packet of milk, a small box of cornflakes, a packet of Chipsmore and a tube of Mentos. Count a long with me here. 1… 2… 3… 4… That is four items. I proceed to the express counter. The express counters have large signs in 2 languges that say 10 units or less.

Right in front of me was this fat bitch who had 12 cans of sweetened creamer, 2 bags of oil, 2 cartons of egg, 4 packets of laundry detergent and a packet of chili. If you need to calculate the total, you’re a dumbass. What pissed me off even more was that the cashier actually went on to check out her items. What bullshit.

I am not saying that only fat people are inconsiderate but let’s face it. They are generally harder to miss if you know what I mean.

Teeth Wisdom

I went to the dentist today. I was scheduled for a 1PM appointment, so I went there 30 minutes before. I had hopes that this time around the good doctor would be on time but to no avail. I could only assume that it was due to another local that messed up the entire schedule by being late thus creating a whole chain reaction for other people.

Upon arriving, I saw this woman sitting right in the middle of a 3 seat couch. There was 2 seat couch and a single seat separately. The single seat was closest to the toilet entrance and the 2 seat couch was occupied by a guy. What came to my mind straightaway was why was that bitch occupying the entire couch by sitting in the middle? I don't know about you guys, but I don't feel comfortable sitting that close to a woman that I don't know. I am sure that most women in this country wouldn't like guy strangers sitting that close to them as well. So I had to stand, until the guy on the 2 seat couch was next to see the dentist. I took over his spot.

Later on, two more women entered and that bitch was still sitting in the middle being oblivious. Until for some strange reason, intelligence struck her in the head and she decided to move over to the side seat to make way for those two women. Oh, she also did not have an appointment set up previously so she had to wait until the doctor was free. I was quite well aware of that from the signs that were going on.

So I was waiting to rage if she did actually went in before me. Thankfully she didn't. I hate inconsiderate people. I hate people that do not teach their children proper principles and ethics. I hate people that think they are entitled to having things done their way just because they exist.

* * * * *

Other than the dentist commenting on the improvement of my gums.

I had a little chat with the aunty at the reception that handles payment and appointments. I was talking to her about punctuality today. She naturally said that it is always because of one person who is late that messes things up for everyone else. I of course replied the obvious that it is in the culture of the locals and that it was terrible.

She was explaining how some people would have an appointment at time X, and they would only begin to leave their house at time X. So I again reiterated that it is a bad habit and deeply rooted within the culture here.

What caught me off guard was her saying that it was especially bad with Christians. That's right. She said it. I am not sure if she is one too, but I know the dentist is. Just hearing it from another person other than myself makes me laugh with delight to know that I am not the only one that notice such behavior among them. What was even better was that she said that some pastors are even worse that they expected to be attended to first despite being late and all.

I agreed by saying, it is worse in a sense that just because we are all Christians, some of these people tend to take advantage of it, expecting us to be super kind and helpful to them. Just because we're Christians. When you deny them of what they think is their entitlement, they quickly reveal their true colors by criticizing how bad example of a Christian you are. When all this while nothing has been said about their own attitude yet. I detest these people.

Just because we're Christians does not mean we should be easily taken advantage of. In fact, why are you fellow Christians trying to take advantage of your own kind?

Isabel Lucas on Rove

I used to watch Rove Live when I was studying in Australia back in the day a lot. I found it entertaining as one of the better things to look forward to on non-cable/satellite television. Occasionally there would be rare talents that I get to watch on the show, sort of like an introduction to me that broadens the exposure of different types of entertainment I know.

Though some people seem to hate Rove a lot, I think some of the stuff they do on the show is pretty funny. In this video, the Rove setting is new and different to me and I am not too sure why there are more people sitting around.
